PMC or Precious Metal Clay is microscopic particles of silver suspended in a binder to create a material similar to clay.  It is molded, then fired to burn away the binder while the particles fuse together to form solid "fine" silver that is almost pure.

Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do this extraordinary piece justice. Fresh water pearls are finished off with a free form handcrafted fine silver piece with fine silver mesh embedded and small pearls dangling off the mesh. It is a pale coral color with with 5 sterling beads 1 1/8 inches from the center focal pendant of .999 handcrafted fine silver on each side.A sterling silver toggle closes this necklace.
